why is it the summer months everything that you see or read is about weight loss. What happen to us enjoying our summer without thinking about our weight issues. Well for the summer if you must think about weight then let's talk about losing weight on the cheap. Get out and be active. It;s warm summer nights and beautiful summer morning. Get out and enjoy a walk or bike ride.
The kids are out for the summer when was the last time you had a game of baseball, Frisbee or water balloon fights. It's summer and it will not only be enjoyable for the kids but you and the kids will both be getting exercise from it.
Free library work out tapes, books some people can only get motivated to lose weight if there is someone in front of them telling them what to do. That is where the tapes comes in at and if you need to learn what portion control and how to make tasty low calorie food then that is where the books come in at all free.
Limit your meals to one meat a day. hey let's go veggie. I think meat can be over rated at times. It's a great way to watch your weight going to all vegetables and fruits.
Look for free or discounted work out equipment that you can use at home. If not then scout around for a low cost gym membership. What i personally do is I share a gym membership with a friend. She uses it on certain days and I use it on certain some day and we split the cost. it's a cheap way to exercise.
look for a local gym in your city. I know in new york the city of new york has gyms in all five boroughs . The membership cost $50.00 for the year. And the city gyms also offer classes on self defense,boxing, modern dance all of this for just $50.
The beach, park, zoo are great places to see exciting things and enjoy life while still getting your exercise in.
If you need help look for programs like Weight Watchers, and Jenny Craig to have a sale on membership and see about joining if the price is right. I know Weight Watchers always send me free membership cards. But I have to pay $13 for the meeting. Hey sometimes being in groups help you reach your weight goals. Also there are a lot of great programs on line that you can join for free to help you lose weight.
